Bike commuting just got easier with Pop Cargo, the bike rack that’s there when you need it, and gone when you don’t!
Pop Cargo is a quick-release bike rack that can be removed with the push of a button!
This heavy duty bike rack can carry up to 50lbs of cargo; groceries, a heavy backpack, or anything else you can fit on the rack.
Use the included Cargo Cleats to rapidly and securely mount Milk Crates or other containers.
Don’t worry if your bike is missing eyelets or accessory mounts:
Pop Cargo has a universal seat tube mounting bracket that can be installed on most standard bikes with 28mm to 38mm tubing.
You can easily install Pop Cargo in under 5 minutes with the included tools and adapters.
To prevent rack theft, you can disable the quick release slider by installing the included Lock Screw.
Compatible Bikes
Pop Cargo is compatible with most standard bike seat tubes.
The narrow steel bracket can even fit behind front derailleur cables found on the seat tubes of certain hybrid and mountain bikes.
Bicycles with unusual seat tubes, rear-suspension or unusual bike geometry might not be compatible with Pop Cargo.
Pop Cargo should be installed on bikes with steel or aluminum round tubing. Avoid using on carbon fibre frames.
Hybrid / City
Good Compatibility
Pop Cargo is perfect for hybrid and city bikes with standard seat tubes.
Hardtail Mountain Bikes
Good Compatibility
The Pop Cargo detachable bike rack is compatible with most hardtail mountain bikes with round tubing.
Rear-suspension Mountain Bikes
Not Compatible
Pop Cargo is not compatible with rear-suspension Mountain Bikes.
Step-through bicycles
Women’s bikes, beach cruisers, city bikes
Compatibility depends on the angle of the seat tube. Some step-thoughs like city bikes will work, while beach cruisers with leaned-back seat post will not work.
Kid’s Bikes
Some Compatibility
The is a wide range of frame types and sizes for Kid’s bikes. Some will work, others won’t.
If you’re unsure about bike compatibility, please consult this sizing chart or contact us with a picture or link to your bicycle and we’ll do our best to help you out.
Pop Cargo bracket
The bracket mounts to the seat tube and is made of Polyamide powder filled with glass particles. This is a lightweight plastic with high rigidity, mechanical strength and damping properties.
The red slider that locks and releases the tube rack and can be disabled by installing the lock screw in the hole.

Pop Cargo tube rack
A single piece of steel tubing that mounts on the Pop Cargo bracket to provide 50lbs of support when used with the Cargo Cleats. The rack includes a plastic stabilizer and joiner that provides lateral support and stability.

Cargo Cleats
Provide fast and sturdy attachment for many types of milk crates and other containers.
Rotate the clips to install or remove containers from the rack tube.
The bottom of the cleat is cast from stainless steel with integrated M6 threads. Installing the clips is easy using the included 4mm Hex Key. You can dial-in the perfect amount of resistance on the clip.

Installation Instructions
INSTALLING CARGO BRACKET
- Remove 8mm screws and metal backing from Cargo Bracket
- Choose the correct seat tube adapter size for your bike‘s tube size.
- Snap the seat tube adapter onto your seat tube.
- Assemble Cargo Bracket on tube adapter by inserting 4x 8mm screws through the metal backing and into the Cargo Bracket.
- Tighten screws
- Test your Bracket placement by inserting the Tube Rack into the bracket, make sure there is minimum 1“ clearance above the rear wheel.- Once you‘re satisfied with the Cargo Bracket position, fully tighten the screws to lock bracket in place.
Operating Instructions
RIDING AND SAFETY
- Ensure the Pop Cargo bracket mounting screws (4x) are fully tightened
to prevent rotational movement of the rack. - Ride cautiously when carrying heavy loads.
Heavy loads will affect the balance and riding of your bicycle. - Secure your loads with straps and bungees
to avoid bouncing and falling cargo.
